That is the kind of situation I am sometimes given on a Thursday for a seminar starting on Monday. It works, but it is tight.
For corporate seminars and events in Provence, I provide transfers from stations and airports to the venues, and transfers during the stay, restaurants, excursions, vineyard visits.
What organisers underestimate: travel times in Provence in summer. Reaching a mas between Aix and the Alpilles from the TGV station can take much longer if you do not plan ahead. Planning transfers means making sure participants arrive relaxed, not stressed by a GPS that cannot find the property.
