Salon — Camargue & Arles: private taxi tour

This is the tour that took me the most kilometres to find its best angles, and I help you avoid the tourist traps. We leave Salon and reach Arles in a little under an hour. The Roman city unfolds: the 1st-century arena where férias are still held, the amphitheatre, Place du Forum with the café Van Gogh painted yellow, the Alyscamps, that ancient necropolis lined with sarcophagi. I leave you a few hours to really feel the city. In the afternoon, we head to Salin-de-Giraud. We enter the Camargue by the salt-marsh road: rice fields, black bulls, white horses grazing freely by the lagoons, pink flamingos by the hundreds. The landscape is unique in Europe, and the silence here, broken only by the wind and the birds, leaves a lasting impression.
