Marseille — Camargue & Saintes-Maries: private taxi tour

This is a real day of adventure, the most complete one I offer. We leave Marseille towards the west and two hours later we arrive in Arles. The Roman city unfolds: the 1st-century arena that still hosts the férias, the amphitheatre, the obelisk on Place de la République, the little café that Van Gogh painted yellow. I let you walk, have a coffee, and soak up the light that drove him mad. Then we enter the Camargue via Salin-de-Giraud. The landscape changes completely: rice fields, black bulls, white horses grazing freely by the lagoons, pink flamingos by the hundreds in the brackish water. We stop, we walk a little, we take our time. Finally we head to Aigues-Mortes, a medieval city entirely enclosed within its 13th-century ramparts, built by Saint Louis before his crusade.
