Auriol — Pagnol Tour: private taxi tour

A small tour that touches the hearts of Pagnol lovers. We leave Auriol along the Huveaune valley and gently descend to Aubagne, only a few minutes away. The hometown of Marcel Pagnol keeps his birthplace, discreet, in a small street that has not changed since 1895. I always like to show you the santon workshops in the centre: they are the direct descendants of the 18th-century craftsmen, and some still sculpt clay figurines the size of a thumb in front of you. The town-centre market is also a real Provençal market: olives, herbs, goat cheeses from the Garlaban.
