Since 1999, Marsatac has become the yearly meeting point for urban and electronic music in Marseille. For a long time nestled at La Friche Belle de Mai and then nomadic across several city venues, the festival found its definitive home in 2023 at Parc Borély. The 2026 edition runs from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 June 2026, with three stages, Le Château, Le Virage and Le Calage : rotating about fifty artists without awkward overlaps. 2026 headliners: Niska, Disiz, Théodora, ElGrandeToto, Meryl, Bamby, La Mano 1.9 and a whole wave of the emerging French and Moroccan scene.

Friday 12 June, the large-scale opening

The densest night of the edition, with seventeen names spread across the three stages.

Le Château

  • Niska : the headliner. The Bondy native remains one of the heavyweights of contemporary French rap, brutal drill and radio hits at once.
  • Meryl : the Martinican dancehall voice who has established herself as one of the major female artists of the French-speaking scene.
  • La Mano 1.9 : Marseille rap writing in its roughest vein.
  • Menace Santana : French drill figure.
  • Creamy G : the discovery gem.

Le Virage

  • La Rvfleuze, Ino Casablanca (rising Moroccan scene), Huntrill, Jeune Morty, Metah, Diez, Brownelims.

Le Calage

  • DJ and clubbing night: Kayla, Vybz All Stars, Entourage, Front Raw: Trap Party, Twerkistan.

Saturday 13 June, the headliner night

A tighter line-up but with the highest density of big names.

Le Château

  • Théodora : the French dancehall-afro voice who has established herself as one of the most exciting discoveries of recent seasons.
  • Disiz : the return of a legend. The author of Pacifique and L'Amour, who has marked two decades of French rap, on the main stage.
  • ElGrandeToto : the heavyweight of contemporary Moroccan rap, one of the most listened-to artists in the Maghreb.
  • Bamby : the singular rap-pop voice of the moment.

Le Virage

  • P.L.L, THÉA, Juste Shani, Kaba & Hyas.

Le Calage

  • DJ set and club: Pata Negra, WandaWitt (Rakata Collective), Carlala, Claude-Emmanuelle.

Sunday 14 June, Cagole day, workshops and showcases

Sunday changes format. A single stage active, Le Calage, for a more family-friendly, festive and locally rooted day.

  • DJ Sebb : to open the day.
  • Cagole Nomade : the festive band claiming Marseille identity.
  • Feu Foulek (La Fièvre), live set.
  • Marsatac School : showcases of workshops run throughout the year with neighbourhood youth.
  • La Récréation Solidaire : charitable and supportive moment.
  • Election of Miss Cagole Marsatac : the iconic and joyfully offbeat closing event.

What makes Marsatac different

Marsatac is not a classic "mainstream" festival. It's an independent and engaged festival: sharp programming (you discover the future big names of French rap before others), strong eco-responsible approach (sorting, deposit cups, reused furniture), and a real local ecosystem, every year, Marseille artists move from the Marsatac School springboard to the main stage in a few editions.

The Parc Borély setting adds real quality: trees, grass, view of the racecourse, more breathable atmosphere than an industrial site. And the immediate proximity of the Prado beaches allows festival-goers to extend the after-party until sunrise.
